Saturday Morning was a hit with our little Garrett Davis coming out to give a hand. Garrett helped out with light duty task like moving cardboard, filling wheel barrows and spreading mulch as seen in the picture.
Our new friend and Urban Farmer Jeff McDonald came out to get his plot assigned, and worked a while on a small area. In the picture you see the first of many steps in getting our members ready for growing vegetables.

This area is soon to be our potting/nursery area with a bench in assembly all we need is to prep the area so we will use our cardboard and mulch technique to defeat this task!

Thanks to these and a few others for making the potting area come together. We also had a new sign up drop in for a tour of the garden and application to get started. Applications can be found at the garden in the mailbox right inside the gate and at Lake Park Town Hall in the front lobby. Or contact Erin Flaherty @ 561) 252-7179.
We continued working Ann's plot getting her weed barrier cut and in place and some starter compost in place as a base for the roots. This 20x40 area is ready to rock and roll.
